Zackary Curtis

I've determined over the past couple of weeks that my favorite type of shoot might be newborns. And how could they not be when I get to take pictures of adorable little bundles of joy like Zackary Curtis?! I don't have any of my own yet, but luckily my friends are all adding to their families so I'm surrounded by super cuteness at all times! Here are just a few of my favorites from Zackary's first photoshoot!

This picture makes me laugh every time! I love it!

Such sweet moments with mommy and daddy!

The happy new family.

Cute as a button!

Steve & Chelsea's Wedding

Chelsea and I have known each other since the day I was born. Her little brother and I were pretty much inseparable as kids. Since then, so much has changed. We've grown up, their family moved to California, and now she lives in Texas with Steve.

A few weeks ago, I was given an amazing opportunity to shoot Chelsea and Steve's wedding...in Newport Beach, California...(and it gets even better)... on a YACHT! The wedding was absolutely beautiful and I still can't get over how sweet the venue was! After experiencing my first earthquake during breakfast the morning of the wedding, the rest of the day went much smoother. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Chelsea always has a smile on her face and can make a room full of people laugh along with her. I love how calm she looks in this photo while all the girls are helping her lace up her dress.

Steve's single portraits went quicker than any groom I've ever shot! He's a natural in front of the camera.

When I saw this fountain surrounded by the hotel balconies, I knew I had to get bird's eye view shot!

Officially man and wife!

Thank you both for allowing me the chance to be a part of your day! I had a great time! To see more photos from Steve and Chelsea's wedding and other professional work by Snaptology Photography, please click here!

It's Holiday Portrait Time!

I had the pleasure of doing another candid-style family portrait session last weekend at Encanto Park in Phoenix, Arizona. While the park was super busy (weddings, birthday parties, family gatherings, etc), it didn't seem to interfere with this super cute family. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot!

Elie is 4 and Shawn and Zoey are 2 and twins.

A sweet family moment while the kids watch the ducks swim by.

Shawn is a super ham for the camera and liked being chased down these railroad tracks.

Cuteness x3!

I love Sassi weddings!

Nicole and Cory were married 2 weeks ago at Sassi in Scottsdale, Arizona and I have to say with all of the desert scenery, the beautiful architecture, and those awesome doors, I absolutely love this place! Check out some of my favorite pictures from the day!

Did I mention that I love these doors?!

The ceremony site here is so beautiful and feels so intimate!

A cute moment during the first dance.

I'm a sucker for a black, red, and white cake!

Cory showing off his wicked YMCA skills.

I love how you can tell how much fun these two were having together while cutting their cake! Such a cute couple!

Ashley & David's Wedding

Ashley and David had a very traditional church wedding at Phoenix First Assembly of God and then spun tradition on its head to kick off their marriage at Bobby's, a Mancuso Restaurant! I love going to go to new venues and was even more excited about this one because I think kinda hard to find such a cool, modern restaurant that will literally shut it's doors on to the public on a Saturday night (and cater hand and foot to the photographers to boot - icing on the cake, pun totally intended!). Check out some of my favorites shots from the day!

Ashley and David decided to do a first look to get some of their pictures out of the way before their ceremony. They were so excited to see each other!

Did I mention that this couple is gorgeous?!

Oftentimes it's hard to juggle the emotions of lots of kids during a wedding day - I love all the expressions we caught during the day! This little guy was adorable!

We told the kids to cover their eyes during the kiss - check out the cutie front and center!

And now back to the reason for the entire day, the bride and groom! I love the angle I was able to get on this since they were on the landing of some stairs!

The hanging metal beads and all the photos on the back wall of different "Bobby's" in music added a lot of fun to photos all night!

And, of course, we've gotta have some *HOT* night shots alone with the bride and groom!

Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your day! To see more photos from Ashley and David's special day and other professional work by Snaptology Photography, please click here!

Sean & Sara's Wedding

A couple weeks ago, I had the honor of meeting my cousin Sean's gorgeous fiancé Sara for the first time AND I got to shoot their wedding at one of the most amazing locals in Arizona - Lake Powell! Before this trip, I had only been to Lake Powell once before about 10 years ago and after this trip, I think I'll be planning many more trips here. Here are a few of my favorites from Sean & Sara's day!

I love this candid shot of Sara getting laced into her dress!

This might just be my favorite photo from the entire day!

These two know how to party!!!

Sean and Sara, thank you for allowing me to be such a big part of your wedding day! You guys made my job so easy!

Chree & Sons

Last week, I had the opportunity to shoot some really fun and different family portraits at Surprise Lake in Surprise, Arizona. I say different because the first request from Chree was that she didn't want too many posed photos as her boys aren't really into doing that kind of thing. She said she wanted them to be able to do something they enjoyed during the shoot...so we went fishing! How fun is that and how awesome is this mom?! Check out this super cute family!

Thanks for letting me hang with you guys for a bit! I had a great time shooting! To see more photos from this shoot and many others, please visit my website to view my portfolio!

Matt & Ashley's Wedding

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to second shoot for Amy Pileggi of Iris Creative Photography at a McCormick Ranch wedding in Scottsdale. It was a few days before it got super warm here in Phoenix (these two got very lucky with weather) so we were very thankful for that! Matt and Ashley were so super sweet together and even planned a special surprise for all of their guests - stay tuned to see what it was!

The girls all took a trolley over from the hotel where they got ready. Here's a cute shot of them having a laugh before heading inside to McCormick Ranch.

Matt and Ashley decided to see each other before the ceremony for pictures. This is hands down the best groom reaction during a first look!

Love all the color in this photo and Camelback Mountain in the back!

These two were a hoot all day. I love their expressions in these candids!

Priceless!

Still curious about the surprise that Matt and Ashley planned for their guests? Well, wait no more! The DJ started a conga line and the bride and groom led their guests out to the lake again, counted down, 3....2....1. Fireworks, fireworks, and more fireworks! These lasted about as long as any 4th of July show I've ever seen. So cool!

After most of the main events of the wedding, we took Matt and Ashley out for some romantic night shots. I love this one!
